I have never been a big fan of movie reviews. In fact, I never read them before seeing a film and I only read them afterwards to compare my opinion with others. This blog will serve as an outlet for me to express those opinions and allow others to share theirs in response.

Structure and Rating System: I don’t want to limit myself by imposing a set structure for the reviews, but they will generally contain notes on story, style, character, acting, directing, and my overall opinion. The rating system will be based on a scale of 10 and will utilize half points (e.g. 7.5/10, 8/10, etc.)

I appreciate any feedback, comments, and ideas and hope this blog can become a forum for open discussion on all things cinema related. Enjoy and go watch some movies!
